About

Bio

For Corey, music was always a big part of his life, even before becoming a  musician. He gained appreciation for the art form through artists such as  Grateful Dead, Richie Havens, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Canned  Heat, Little Water, John Coltrane and  Ray Charles.

Corey started playing rhythm guitar at age 24, and picked up the Harmonica at age 26. With over 20 years of experience as a musician, he is also very knowledgeable in business, promotion, networking and management. He brings many great qualities and attributes to the table.

In his early years, harmonica master Doc Malone mentored Corey. Around this time Corey toured nationally with Waldemere Revival, a band which he co-founded and was signed to Indie 500 Records. Since then, he has toured with multiple well-known bands, as well as picked up numerous studio tracking gigs.

Corey has played multiple genres throughout his career and is truly a Swiss army knife type of unique musician - playing  rock, country, pop, blues, bluegrass, jam band, folk, and much more. He has a passion for pushing the instrument’s limits with effects pedal integration, using multiple tube amplifiers, and adding crystal element microphones. Corey is booking studio recording sessions now, as well as live music  gigs with established, touring, regional  and local projects.
